The Clingenpeels
Kristen + Caleb are one of those couples that I have gotten to photograph for all their big events. From the proposal, to the engagement, the wedding, their gender reveal, and then to their first family session - they have trusted me with it all. Honestly makes me a little teary eyed just writing that out.
I’ve known the Clingenpeel’s for years. Kristen + Caleb and I went to college together. We did ministry together. Vacationed together. At one point Caleb even rented at the house I was renting from. It was fun getting to watch their love story unfold and to be privileged enough to keep telling it all these years later.
Kristen and Caleb’s son Anderson came into the world - and not without a grand entrance. After a scarey few of weeks in the NICU, the 3 of them headed home. Kristen reached out and wanted to do a family sessions ASAP because Anderson had already grown so much in those weeks.
When I arrived to their house one early Friday morning, it was honestly so crazy for them to open their front door and for there to be a real baby in their arms. For so long it’s just part of your imagination and then boom - the baby is here.
We shot around different areas of their beautiful house (which they have remodeled themselves!) Anderson did great for his photos ;) It was so sweet getting to be a part of yet another beautiful part of their story + I am already looking forward to all the years ahead.
